Reach – to succeed in communicating with or influencing someone.

To reach someone we engage with him or her as Jesus Himself did- in day-to-day, real-life interaction and life experiences. Reaching is about relationship; which is listening and loving. We reach others with the love of God so they can go and reach others.

Teach – to cause to learn by example or experience.

 To teach someone we must take the time to instruct and encourage just as Jesus did with the few (and sometimes many) that His Father called Him to teach.  We teach others so the Holy Spirit can change them, then they go and teach others.

Reach + Teach = Discipleship
