A 3100 Oikos

global opportunity

Project Description

“Praht Jow” is how you say God in Thai. Having student visas, we are in Thai class several hours during the week. It’s been quite a challenge for me while April has done very well; she’s able to speak with just about anyone we meet at the market or at a restaurant.
As we have developed our discipleship program first in English, our friend ต๋อย (Toy) has translated it into Thai for us, and we have gotten it translated into Burmese. This is already showing to be an indispensable tool for us as we go to various areas of Southeast Asia meeting with pastors and believers to equip them to effectively reach and teach people in their oikos (“oi-koss”- one’s distinct “fingerprint” of relationships).
It’s important for us all to remember that when God calls you to do something that He has already planned far in advance what (relationships and resources) you will need to accomplish His far-reaching plans for you and your oikos (Ephesians 2:10).
